We have snow!
Val Thorens opens 18th November 2017
With a good few days of snowfall through November, Val Thorens is ready to rock & roll! An impressive 70% of Val Thorens’ ski lifts open on Saturday 18th November at 9am. These are the lifts that are running:
St Martin de Belleville is looking as beautiful as ever in her winter attire… The snowcapped roofs, crisp winter air and frosty trees are heavenly, and we absolutely can’t wait for the lifts to open here, which they will on 16th December 2017.
Courchevel, for the 3rd year running, opened on 15th November for a special one-off day with free lifts (Verdons and Biollay) and even free hot chocolate! All sorts of skiers came out to play: children and families, freestylers and grannies alike were all excited to be sliding around for the first time since April, especially on such gorgeously groomed pistes and with the sun shining.
Whilst we’d love to be out on the slopes of Val Thorens every day, there’s work to be done in our chalets… We are very busy preparing for the arrival of our first guests, and testing out the new sauna in Chalet Polaris, but we do still have time for playing in the snow with Talini mascot Balloo!
