It’s difficult to believe that this alluring chalet was once a working farmhouse with cows in the sitting room! Yet fast-forward 400 years and our guests are returning year-on-year to this fabulous building. The chalet oozes rustic character as well as having 21^st century luxuries such as en-suite bathrooms, underfloor heating, a cinema den and games room. As well as an outdoor hot tub on the terrace.

Enter the warm and atmospheric space that is the magnificent vault-ceilinged sitting and dining room and you’re magically transported to a luxurious Alpine lodge with the welcoming sofas, a roaring log fire and twinkling candles.

Dining in Chalet de la Lune is an important part of the holiday experience. Your own private chef will prepare a daily aperitif and canapé for you to enjoy by the fireside. Then you’ll be seated at the beautifully-dressed table for four-courses of fresh, creative food and our handpicked wines.

Chalet de la Lune has 6 beautifully appointed bedrooms with antique furniture that befits the chalet’s heritage. As well as contemporary bathrooms, a hairdryer in each room, fluffy towels and bathrobes, slippers, and 100% natural goodies from Cowshed spa products.

Let’s not forget The Den! Part of the enduring popularity of Chalet de la Lune is this rather special underground cavern, which has been converted into a cinema room with a library of DVDs, games, cards and books. As well as a Wii to keep the young-at-heart entertained.

In the new outdoor hot tub, you can soak away tired legs with a (plastic!) glass in hand in front of the incredible mountain view -Utter bliss! Also new are gorgeous handmade designer sofas and chairs in beautiful fabrics.

Please note that the hot tub is available for use until 10pm.
